PetStep Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of PetStep, including optional cloud-backed gameplay, AI-generated media, generation passes, and ad-free features.

Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in method and for activity that occurs through your account.
• PetStep may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts used for fraud, abuse, exploitation, or violations of these terms.

Gameplay and Virtual Items

• PetStep includes virtual pets, inventory, progression systems, generation passes, ad-free access, and consumables.
• Virtual items are licensed for use in the app. They are not redeemable for cash and have no real-world monetary value outside PetStep.
• Gameplay systems may change over time to improve balance, safety, or product quality.

Purchases and Billing

• Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by the billing terms of those stores.
• You are responsible for managing purchase and payment methods through the relevant store platform.
• PetStep may restore valid entitlements after successful store verification.

AI-Generated Content

• Some PetStep features generate media from prompts, battle context, or pet state.
• You may not use these systems for illegal, abusive, infringing, unsafe, or policy-violating content.
• Generated outputs may be blocked, retried, removed, or rate-limited when safety systems or platform rules require it.

Availability and Changes

• PetStep may add, change, pause, or remove features to fix bugs, comply with platform requirements, improve safety, or rebalance the game.
• Cloud-backed features may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or third-party outages.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• reverse engineer or tamper with the service,
• bypass rate limits or safety controls,
• automate gameplay for abuse or economic exploitation,
• interfere with other players or PetStep systems, or
• attempt unauthorized access to backend infrastructure.

Termination

• You can stop using PetStep at any time.
• You can delete your account from the app.
• PetStep may suspend or terminate accounts that create legal, safety, fraud, or operational risk.
